if you:
- have a high school diploma or the equivalent, GED.
- or if you are 18 years old and able to benefit from a program
of instruction.

All students who wish to enroll in courses at TCC must participate in the College Assessment Testing Program . These tests are not admissions tests and are designed to help plan your best course of study and ensure your college success.
The College Assessment Testing Program also provides information for students whose native language is not English (English as a Second Language - ESL). Exceptions:
- Appropriate scores on SAT or ACT tests are submitted.
- Select college-level coursework has been completed successfully.
- To receive credit for completed coursework, complete online form to request
Evaluation of Previous Educational Experiences.

and Degrees
Counselors
are professional staff located in the campus student development,
enrollment or counseling center. Academic advisors are faculty
members who help students plan a course of study in their academic
area. Both are available to act as academic consultants. They
will help you plan your program of study for graduation, employment,
or transfer.
You are encouraged to consult a counselor or an academic advisor
before each registration and to confer with one frequently during
the semester regarding academic matters. It is YOUR responsibility,
