Mission
In support of Tidewater Community College's mission, the Central Records Office aims to support and facilitate the educational mission of the College community by providing quality service to students, alumni, colleagues, and the public. We do this by extending courteous and respectful treatment to all inquiries in a manner that is timely and accurate and in accordance with federal, state, and College guidelines.
Tidewater Community College has a commitment to excellence, and the Central Records Office strives to maintain this commitment to all constituents.
Purpose Statement
The Central Records Office is responsible for a number of college-wide functions. Functions include the degree audit and certification process, evaluating credit for previous educational experiences, processing transcript requests, processing waiver and substitution requests, and correcting student academic records. The Central Records Office works closely with campus and college-wide offices to provide these services to students.
