Employment Services Office
To Prospective Employers:
The Student Employment Services Office at Tidewater Community College (TCC) offers a free job posting service to assist employers with their job search.
If you would like to advertise a job listing with our office, please complete the “Job Summary Form” and fax it to (757) 822-7232. You may also e-mail the information to bbrock@tcc.edu if you use the same format. We will post and advertise your job vacancy for you. The Career and Transfer Resource Centers at the other TCC campuses all have access to this information. After your job listing has been posted and you would like to review it, log on to the TCC/HireNet website at: www.hirenet.net/jobs.cfm?orgid=jtcc3763. Click on “Search the “TCC Job Bank” at the home page. On the next page, all of the positions are listed in alphabetical order, scroll down until you find your position and click on the position title to see the complete job listing.
If you have filled or would like to re-advertise your job listing, please contact the office. Also if you hire a student from TCC, please let us know because we maintain a record of students hired through our office referrals.
The Student Employment Services Office also coordinates employer on-campus recruitment events if you are interested in interviewing/recruiting potential candidates. In addition, the office is always seeking potential Cooperative Education and Internship opportunities where students can earn college credits and gain valuable work experience.
