ID Cards for Students

Students who register and pay for one or more credits are eligible to receive a TCC Student ID Card. The first card is issued free of charge to all students. There will be a $10.00 replacement fee for any lost or stolen cards.

Student ID Cards are available after tuition payment is made and as soon as student information is made available in the ID system. Routinely, students must wait at least one week from the day of payment to receive an ID card. Students can go to any ID Card Office to have their picture taken and to get cards printed. All students must show a photo ID, a copy of their current class schedule and proof of payment to receive their TCC Student ID Card.

Each semester, the student must visit any ID Card Office to get a semester validation sticker. The sticker will be placed on the current ID Card. This sticker verifies the students' current enrollment. Without this sticker, the student's card is invalid.

ID Cards for NON- CREDIT Students
Students enrolled in the non-credit Emergency Medical Services and Information Technology courses are eligible to receive a TCC ID card with approval from the Workforce Development Director of Operations. The card will entitle students to computer lab and library access only.
ID Cards for Faculty and Staff
Mandatory Employee Identification Card Program. The requirement for an ID card is fairly standard practice and is being implemented across the country in colleges and universities. All employees, whether full-time or part-time, must obtain an ID. The ID does not have to be worn, but must be carried with you at all times.

You may obtain your TCC ID on any of our campuses at the Student ID offices, free-of-charge. If you have already obtained an ID, you must obtain a newly designed one along with a sticker identifying your employee status. Old ID cards should be cut in half and discarded. You must bring a picture ID (e.g. your Driver's License) in order to obtain a TCC ID.

You are issued only ONE card; you do not get a second card if you choose to take classes as an employee.

If you are an employee taking classes at TCC, you may have a student sticker placed on your ID Card. To be eligible for a student sticker, you must present your paid tuition receipt each semester to the Campus ID Card Office.

RENEWALS:

  • Faculty: Full time renew yearly - Adjunct, each semester
  • Classified Staff and Wage Employees: Full time renew yearly - Part-time, each semester

Upon termination of your employment with the college, your Faculty or Staff ID Card must be turned in to your supervisor.

Replacement of ID Cards
The cost to replace an ID Card is $10.00, replacement of Semester Stickers costs $5.00.
Replacement fees are paid in the campus Business Office and you must present a payment receipt before new cards or stickers can be issued.
