Project Graduation . All graduates, their guests, TCC
staff and faculty are invited to bring a new children's book and/or canned good to the graduation ceremony. Our goal this year is to collect a least 2006 pounds of food and 2006 children's books.
There will be a collection site staffed by members of the Phi Theta Kappa located at the entrance of the Ted Constant Convocation Center. These items will be given to our community
partners of the Urban
Experience Service Learning Project. These sites include:
- HER Shelter, a safe shelter for abused women and their
children
- PARC, a 30-day emergency shelter for homeless families
- Kids' Cafes, several schools and churches which provide
after-school tutoring, mentoring and food
