Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA)

After a comprehensive review, the Department of Defense (DoD) rolled out a newly restructured military spouse career advancement account (MyCAA) to begin on October 25, 2010 at 8:00 AM EDT.  The changes come in an effort to make the program more viable and sustainable, due to the inability of the DoD to fund the unexpected growth and cost of the project. Click here for updated Military spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program information.

 

   

Basic Instructor Development

This 80-hour course combines lectures, labs, class activities, and presentations to provide the student with the necessary skills to perform effectively in the classroom as an instructor, facilitator or teacher.

Scholarship Opportunity for Children of Enlisted Military Personnel

In appreciation of those who have stood by our servicemen and servicewomen, Tidewater Community College will be awarding five one-year scholarships to the sons and daughters of enlisted personnel, one each from the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy.
