Degree Overview
Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Technology with a Specialization in Quality Assurance (963.05). The Quality Assurance program provides certification through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is designed to produce graduates who can manage, plan, design, and maintain effective quality control programs for a variety of industries.
The Quality Assurance program prepares technicians to handle quality assurance issues and the monitoring of industry and/or manufacturing company production operations.
Graduates are prepared for promotion to supervisory technical positions and to compete favorably for positions in quality engineering, quality assurance, production, operations, material management, and other industrial marine engineering functions.

3 CLEP or DSST credit may be applied, with appropriate documentation
4 Credit for completion of "A" or "C" school may be applied, with appropriate SMART documentation.
5 All students must complete a minimum of 17 credits through TCC to meet residency requirements.
6 SAF125 satisfies the TCC computer competency requirement.
7 The Health/Physical Education course requirement is waived. The credits may be satisfied with any approved
