Using this feature, you may set your preferences for college, term, academic career and financial aid year so that you will not have to enter this information each time it is requested. Set or change your User Preferences using these steps:

Note:  To view your financial aid and tuition account information for TCC, you must set your Institution field in User Preferences to Tidewater Community College.

Login to SIS

Click on Self Service

Click on Student Center

Click on User Preferences under the Personal Information heading.

In the Institution field select Tidewater Community College from the drop down menu.

In the Academic Career field select Credit.

In the Term field enter the four-digit semester term code (see below) or click on the lookup button to search the term list for your selection. When the search panel opens, click on Lookup for the list to appear.

In the Aid Year field enter the four-digit year (see below) or use the lookup button to search the aid year list for your selection.

Note: Users are not required to select a preference for all categories, you may select just Institution and Academic Career or any combination of items you choose.

Click on Save

Click on OK at the User Preferences Save Confirmation screen.

 

Term Codes:  2073 - Summer 2007

                     2074 - Fall 2007

                     2082 - Spring 2008

Financial Aid Years:  Fall 06, Spring 07, Summer 07 = 2007

                              Fall 07, Spring 08, Summer 08 = 2008
