What's New at the TCC Bridges Learning Center?

Do you..

•  have difficulty paying attention in class?
•  study for tests but can't remember what you studied?
•  have trouble reading and understanding your textbooks?
•  want to increase your ability to concentrate and focus?
•  want to MAXIMIZE your success in college?

SDV 108 College Survival Skills ** (using the Bridges Learning System) will help you in ALL of these areas.

This class will teach you HOW TO LEARN more effectively through physical exercises, memory techniques, and workbook activities .

Come have fun in this exciting and informative class while you improve your ability to concentrate and focus-essential skills for college survival!

TCC ran this course as a pilot program during the 2003-2004 academic year.   Here is what some of the participants had to say about the program:

All classes are held on the Norfolk Campus, in the Stanley Walker Technology Building , Room 3308, instructed by Certified Bridges Specialist, Agatha Peterson.
