Open Door Project students:

• toured Old Dominion University
• toured Virginia Wesleyan College
• toured Norfolk State University
• attended our 10th Annual Awards Ceremony where we honor our graduates, our honor students, mentors, tutors, and where - this year - we invited all our past graduates to participate
• participated in a number of workshops
• participated in a Mentor/Mentee get acquainted luncheon where the new students met their mentors for the first time and learned how the mentoring program benifits them and how to get the most out of it with their participation, and all over food and drink
• participated in two UP Days (Unity and Pictue Days) where the students get to know one another, acquaint the new students with the office staff and how we function, and take pictures, play games and partake of much junk food
