The 40th Annual TCC Art Faculty Exhibition was held at the Visual Arts Center, TCC at Olde Towne, Portsmouth, Virginia, November 21, 2009 through January 7, 2010. The Opening Reception took place on Friday, November 20 at 6 p.m. in conjunction with the 14th Annual Olde Towne Arts & Antiques Open House. At 7 p.m., Deborah M. DiCroce, President, Tidewater Community College, announced those works selected for the college’s permanent art collection.

Twenty-one faculty members displayed recent drawings, paintings, pottery, glass, photographs, computer generated imagery and mixed media. Participating full-time faculty included: Ed Francis, Ed Gibbs, Rob Hawkes, Rosemary Hill, Corinne Lilyard-Mitchell, Craig Nilsen and Tom Siegmund; new VAC Director, Christina Rupsch also took part.
