Radar Observer Courses

These courses meet the Coast Guard requirement that certain individuals must successfully complete a Coast Guard approved radar observer training course in order to receive an endorsement as Radar Observer. We have both original and renewal courses. Upon successful completion of our course you will be issued a certificate which you simply present to the Coast Guard who will then place a radar observer endorsement on your license. We offer a day and evening class.

Flashing Light
This course meets the Coast Guard requirement that all individuals applying for either an original or upgraded deck license over 1600 gross tons on ocean or coastwise waters must pass a signaling examination (flashing light). Upon successful completion of our course you will be issued a certificate which you simply present to the Coast Guard to meet the flashing light requirement for your particular license.
