CISSP
Certified Information System Security Professional
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Tidewater Community is offering its comprehensive Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) course. This program will meet the DOD 8570.1, Level III requirements. All Department of Defense personnel to include contractors will be required to meet these requirements not later than 2010.
COMMITMENT and SUPPORT
Our concentrated and focused program is designed to permit busy professionals to prepare to achieve the internationally recognized CISSP certification in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. The CISSP is accredited under ISO/IEC 17024, attesting to its status as the premier Information System (IS) security certification.
As part of the comprehensive package, the instructor will provide individual support for the duration of the course and final exam preparations.
PROGRAM FEATURES
This program will take into account that we will have busy professionals therefore, these classes have been scheduled to meet the demands of a busy lifestyle. This course has been broken down in 15 sessions.
Facilitators will provide exam tips and strategies.

The program will cover the CISSP CBK 10 Domain:
- Security Management Practices
- Computer Operations Security
- Physical Security
- Security Architecture and Model
- Access Control Systems and Methodology
- Cryptography
- Telecommunications and Network Security
- Application and System Development Security
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
- Law, Investigations, and Ethics

Session II Tine: 5:30pm-9:00pm, Monday-Friday, beginning December 7 -18, 2009, resuming 11-15 January 2010.

COST
The course fee is $2,000. Group discounts are available, please inquire.
This fee does not include the cost of examination, currently schedule for February 19, 2010 in Norfolk, VA.
