Heating Professional Basic
Do you understand the relationship between all of the systems in the house and its effect occupant health, safety and comfort, as well as energy efficiency and durability? This basic course is designerd for those with some heating background but have not been through BPI or HERS class. This 48 hour course is a great addition to a professional energy auditor's tool box.
This course covers, in part, energy and building space; building shell and thermal envelope; airflow basics; moisture maintance; air quality; combustion safety and CO monitoring; and understanding the relationship between heating systems in a building with the goal of maxmizing safety and energy efficieny.
You will work with a blower door; duct tightness testing equipment; ambient CO detector; monometer; natural gas ditector and flue gas detector.
The class includes classroom training as well as field work.

Heating Professional Advanced

This advanced course is designerd for those who have graduated from the Building Analyst class or hold a BA or HERS rating already. This 32 hour course is a great addition to a professional energy auditor's tool box.
