Learn the role of the manager in teaching and supporting good customer service techniques in employees. Best practices in customer service training will be shared.
Loss Prevention:
BUSC 5025 Loss Prevention
Learn theft deterrence strategies for both internal and external theft, as well as specific safety and security measures to apply.
BUSC 5100 Loss Prevention – Shoplifting, Robberies, and Theft
Learn strategies to address incidents involving shoplifting, robbery, and internal theft and resources to develop a pro-active program designed to deter and prevent theft through planning, safety, and risk management strategies.
BUSC 5127 Loss Prevention–Scams, Credit Card Fraud, &Counterfeiting
Learn the scams likely to be encountered by retail employees and how to avoid losses incurred by those scams, which include counterfeiting and fraudulent credit card transactions.
BUSC 5026 Holiday Loss Prevention Update
Retailers will learn the latest on loss prevention topics including: methods of internal and external theft, what to look for, hiring the right employees, and what you can do to deter shoplifters and vendor errors during the holiday season.
