Letter from the TCC Board Chair

Welcome to Tidewater Community College and to the College Board’s website.

My colleagues and I are privileged to work with the college’s staff, faculty, and administrators in their important mission to serve students in South Hampton Roads. The four cities that Board members represent are Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach—each contribute uniquely to the college’s work. As noted by Dr. Baehre-Kolovani, TCC provides open-access higher education and training to people of all ages and backgrounds, helping them to achieve both their individual goals and contribute as citizens and workers to the vitality of our region and an increasingly global community.
