The
Office of Student Outcomes Assessment (SOA) provides
college-wide leadership in student assessment, program review, and the collection,
analysis, and reporting of educational data.

of evidence and assist administrators and faculty
in data-driven decision making at all levels

- SACS-compliant program review process, named "Strategic Outcomes Assessment Review and Report" (SOARR), which includes the design and monitoring of the process and forms, producing a myriad of information resources such as this website, and offering consultative services that address meaningful, manageable, and on-going assessment of programmatic and student learning outcomes for continuous program improvement.
- VCCS Core Competencies, which includes serving on various System Office planning groups, coordinating activities with TCC personnel to ensure compliance with testing policies and procedures, and disseminating reports to assist administrators and faculty with continuous improvement planning.
