Human Resources Management System (HRMS)

When to begin using HRMS

Full-time faculty and classified staff – Pay Period Beginning 6/25/2011

  • Begin entering Absence Requests (leave requests such as annual leave, sick leave, etc.) into HRMS for the pay period 6/25 through 7/9/2011 and for all pay periods going forward.
  • As we transition between our current payroll processes and the new automated processes using HRMS, employees should continue to submit Leave slips and timesheets with leave requests to the Office of Human Resources.   We will advise when you are no longer required to submit paper timesheets and leave requests.

Full-time non-exempt employees (those required to complete timesheets each pay period) – Pay Period Beginning 6/25/2011

  • Begin entering Time (hours worked) into HRMS for the pay period 6/25 through 7/9/2011 and for all pay periods going forward.
  • As we transition between our current payroll processes and the new automated processes using HRMS, employees should continue to submit Leave slips and timesheets with leave requests to the Office of Human Resources.   We will advise when you are no longer required to submit paper timesheets and leave requests.

Wage employee or work-study student – 6/10/2011 through 6/23/2011

  • Begin entering Time (hours worked) into HRMS for the pay period 6/10 through 6/23/2011 and for all pay periods going forward.
  • As we transition between our current payroll processes and the new automated processes using HRMS, wage employees and Federal Work-Study (FWS) students should continue to fill out the paper timesheets that you receive from the Payroll office. The schedule for wage employee to transition to HRMS only is noted in the information below. Employees will receive a pink timesheet that indicates you are in a 3 payperiod transtion to HRMS only. If your campus is using paper timesheets, you may still enter your time in HRMS to become familier and comfortable with the process.
