Administrator of the Year Award


The Administrator of the Year Award is designed to recognize an administrator who has contributed to advancing the college’s mission and goals. Members of the Administrative Associaiton are eligbile for nomination. The award will be made to an individual who has demonstrated ongoing support of the college and effective communication among administrators, classified staff, faculty and students. The individual nominated should be: (1) a significant contributor to shaping and advancing the college’s mission and goals as outlined in the current Planning Supplement, “Bearings on the Future: The Tidewater Community College Strategic Plan”; (2) a person who promotes opportunities for leadership, training and mentoring; (3) a person who has demonstrated support for the college necessary for the efficient and effective operation; and (4) a person who fosters clear communication among College administrators, staff, faculty and students.

Nomination Form
Completed nomination forms for the 2008-2009 Administrator of the Year Award are due by February 2, 2009 to the Chair of the Administrative Association.
