TCC Governance: Curriculum Committee
Purpose
To review and recommend for approval new academic programs and academic programs to be discontinued; to consider and approve changes to existing academic programs; to review and approve new courses and changes in course numbers, titles, descriptions, credit hours, and prerequisites; and to review and recommend policies and procedures related to degree requirements for all college programs, certificates, diplomas and degrees. Reports through the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
The Charge
- Review the Curriculum and Instruction Committee 2008-09 Annual Report, to take note of past actions and accomplishments, and to identify any items that are unfinished business that should be addressed in the current year. (September 2009)
- Review/refine and recommend next steps for the implementation of the TCC Five-Year Curriculum Plan for 2010-15 with a special focus on Year 1,2, and 3. (December 2009) [Sources: 2009-10 Working Priorities (Priority 1, Strategy 2)]

- Perform an audit on courses and programs that contain content related to renewable energies and sustainability. (January 2010)
