The Summer College at the Norfolk campus
Tidewater Community College would like to offer you an opportunity to begin or extend your college career this summer by enrolling in late starting courses during the Summer College at the Norfolk Campus.
See our listing of the Summer College courses at the Norfolk Campus of Tidewater Community College. The Summer College was created specifically with the idea of starting later in the summer so that college students home for the summer or high school students could complete classes in a compressed timeframe. The courses will begin on June 23 and were selected to help you get ahead of the game by taking traditional freshman college credit courses over the summer. You may select courses to apply to your program at Tidewater Community College or to transfer to a four year college or university.
In five weeks you will be able to complete any of the 25 courses that are available. The schedule has been designed to enable you to take more than one course at a time.
Tuition is the same as that for our regular college credit classes. You have plenty of time to register, but you will need to complete a TCC admissions application. After you have completed this free application, you will need to come to any campus and take the placement test. The last step will be to enroll in the course(s) of your choice.
