| Expectations and Understandings |
- Current TCC students with current ID card (No exceptions.)
- We welcome walk- ins and groups.
- Students need to be prepared for the tutoring session by having read the assignments or have attempted the homework.
- The student needs to bring hard copy essays with all the drafts, classroom notes, professor's comments and books.
- Students are responsible for their own research, analysis, the contents of papers, and the grades received.
- Tutors can not help you with quizzes or exams.
- Tutoring sessions last thirty minutes. DO NOT EXCEED MORE THAN AN HOUR.
- OUR GOAL IS NOT TO HELP YOU TO PRODUCE A "PERFECT PAPER" BUT TO GIVE YOU THE SKILLS AND THE TOOLS TO IMPROVE YOUR WRITING AND READING SKILLS.
- TUTORS CAN NOT PROOFREAD OR EDIT PAPERS. Tutors will help you to identify STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES AS WRITER.
- Tutors should help you to become a stronger and independent learner. Tutors will teach you strategies to improve and enhance your writing.
