Charles W. Lepper
Charles W. Lepper is Vice President for Student Affairs at TCC.
Lepper joined TCC in July 2013, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in student affairs. He provides strategic, college-wide leadership for TCC's Division of Student Affairs with an institutional focus on student success, overseeing Student Success, Central Records, Student Leadership Development and Community Engagement, Educational Accessibility and the Open Door Project. Among his primary areas of emphasis are strategic enrollment management, academic advising, student retention and completion leading to successful transfer and employment.
Lepper served as Assistant Vice President for Student Development Services in the system office of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, a 28-campus system serving more than 200,000 students annually. His experience includes both system- and campus-level perspectives, having served as the chief campus student affairs officer, as well as in student affairs positions at three four-year institutions. Lepper is an endorsed National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) consultant, frequently providing support and assistance to two-year institutions across the country.
He holds a doctorate in educational administration from Indiana State University, a master's degree in secondary, higher, and adult education from Grand Valley State University, and a bachelor's degree in human resources and personnel management from Ball State University.
