Alice R. McAdory
Alice McAdory is Vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Management. McAdory provides strategic, college-wide leadership for TCC’s institutional focus on student success as the college’s principal goal. She oversees Central Records, Student Activities and leadership programs, Disabilities Services and Recruitment and Enrollment Management. In addition, McAdory manages the Open Door Project, a grant-supported initiative that helps those from disadvantaged backgrounds be successful in college.
Before TCC, McAdory served as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Old Dominion University for nearly 21 years. While there, she led numerous university initiatives and oversaw student services, financial aid, military services and undergraduate, graduate, distance learning and international admissions. She established and advised 14 enrollment-management committees that created strategic components of the university’s enrollment plan.
Previously, McAdory worked as director for an off-campus site for Old Dominion at Langley Air Force Base. She also served as director of the Peninsula Higher Education Center in Hampton.
McAdory earned her doctorate in educational policy and leadership with a concentration in higher education administration from the College of William and Mary. She received her master’s in clinical psychology and counseling from Valdosta State University. She holds a bachelor’s in German from the University of Maryland.
