Career Studies Certificate - Nurse Aide

You’ll learn the fundamentals of how to support nurses through patient feeding and personal care, charting, nutrition, safety and infection control.

Admission to the nurse aide program requires some additional items in addition to general admission to the college.

To qualify for this program, you will need to complete the application steps outlined in the program admissions packet.

Applicants are encouraged to attend an open house at the Regional Health Professions Center on the Virginia Beach Campus. They are held on the third Thursday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m.
