Computer networks are integral to the functioning of almost any large business or institution, and the demand for well-trained network administrators continues to grow.

As a graduate of Tidewater Community College’s Career Studies Certificate in Network Administration, you will have a broad background in network administration and will be able to utilize a number of network operating systems, such as Windows, Unix and Linux.

Additionally, you will learn how to configure and maintain routers to support specific network infrastructures. Job possibilities include working as network administrators or help desk technicians.

Earn valuable industry credentials! Course work in this program qualifies you to sit for such certification exams as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS); Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT); and CompTIA Security+ Certification.
