Earn valuable industry credentials. You’ll be ready to take the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification exam in electrical/electronic systems and heating and air conditioning. You will also be ready to take the refrigerant recovery license exam.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own personal protection equipment, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses and long pants. Students must also obtain a TCC uniform shirt. If you are already working in the automotive repair field, you may wear the uniform from your place of business.
Credits you earn in this career studies program apply to the AAS in Automotive Technology. Or find work as an automotive technician at a repair facility or dealership.
