Note: Direct Loans for first time borrowers will be included with the  February 27, 2018 disbursements. All dates are approximate and will vary based on the option you selected to receive your refund disbursement.

For students who have been awarded a one-term loan (Spring Only), loan funds will be posted to your student account in two separate disbursements.

Dynamic Session Classes have unique refund and withdrawal dates and may affect the dates of Grant and/or Direct Loan Disbursements. If you have any questions, please contact your Campus Financial Aid Office.

Please allow 2 to 14 business days to receive your refund. Grants and loans for financial aid eligible courses will be disbursed every 2 weeks from the dates shown above throughout the semester until all refunds are disbursed.

Visit the electronic disbursements and refund page to view how quickly funds will be available to you, based on the refund method you have selected.

Delayed Disbursements

TCC’s delayed disbursement process is used to prevent Pell Grants and Direct Loans from disbursing prior to students beginning attendance in the required number of financial aid eligible credit hours as required by the U. S. Department of Education.

Grants

Students receiving Pell Grants who are registered for 1 to 5 financial aid eligible credit hours are required to begin attendance in at least one financial aid eligible course before Pell Grants can be disbursed. Students registered for 6 or more financial aid eligible credit hours are required to begin attendance in 6 financial aid eligible credit hours before Pell Grants can be disbursed.

Direct Loans

Students receiving Direct Loans who are registered for 6 or more eligible financial aid credit hours are required to begin attendance in 6 financial aid eligible credit hours before Direct Loans can be disbursed.
