Do you find yourself surveying pretty spots to determine what makes the landscaping work? Tidewater Community College’s Career Studies Certificate in Landscape Design will teach you to create artistry on a canvas of soil and ordinary grass.

Build your knowledge with classes ranging from landscape plants to landscape drawing to professional landscape management and planting design.

TCC’s horticulture program is the only one of its kind in southeast Virginia.

What does this program cost?

TCC's Career Studies Certificate in Landscape Design consists of 4 semesters of part-time study, with classes held mainly on the Chesapeake Campus.

24 credits x $181.10 per credit = $4,346.40 (not including textbooks and supplies)

Where can you go?

Use your credits towards TCC’s Associate of Applied Science in Horticulture or find work as a tree care technician, landscape gardener, turf grass technician, landscape installer, landscape maintenance technician or join a retail landscape business.
