Welcome to TCC information sessionS and Campus Tours

Offered both in-person and virtually, our Welcome to TCC information sessions provide an overview of TCC academic programs, student services, and our steps to enroll. Attend one of these sessions and meet with our onboarding staff that will guide you through submitting your free application to registering for classes. If you attend an in-person information session, you’ll have the opportunity for a campus tour as well!

Welcome to TCC sessions are offered in the morning and afternoons to accommodate your busy schedule. Virtual sessions are offered throughout the day and we have evening sessions as well!

Next steps to Enroll Sessions

Offered both in-person and virtually, these sessions lead applicants through their steps to enroll. When you attend these sessions, you will receive assistance with completing your direct placement questionnaire and clearing any holds that might be on your account. Additionally, you can connect with our financial aid staff to answer your questions or submit requested documents. After that, you are ready to attend the advising session to select your classes and get register for classes. Frequently, our Next Steps to Enroll and Advising sessions are scheduled together so you can complete everything in one stop.

Ready Set Enroll

The Ready Set Enroll events are offered on campus and at our community partner sites through the South Hampton Roads area to ensure applicants can easily complete the steps to enroll. When you attend a Ready Set Enroll event, you can complete your free admissions application, get help with your financial aid application, meet with an academic advisor, speak with our Center for Military and Veterans Education staff about your educational benefits, and walk out registered for classes.

Visit days

Scheduled at each campus throughout the fall and spring semesters, Visit Days are a great way to learn about TCC by attending a general information session along with break-out sessions on topics that are relevant to new students. Participants experience a campus tour and can meet with our offices to complete their free admissions application, get assistance submitting their financial aid application, and meet with an academic advisor to select a program and register for classes.

Open Houses

Open House is a great time to meet with our faculty to talk about the variety of programs we offer at TCC. These events are offered in the spring and early summer to showcase our beautiful campuses and to give you a glimpse into our campus experience. Like all of our events, participants can get assistance from the beginning of submitting your free application and walk out registered for classes.

Health Professions Admissions

Join us for our Health Professions program informational sessions that are typically offered on the 3^rd Thursday of each month. Each session offers prospective students the opportunity to tour of our state-of-the-art facilities; learn about the admissions process specific to the health professions programs; ask questions of faculty and staff; and attend presentations on specific programs of study. Attendance at one of these sessions is mandatory for admission to the programs. Check out our schedule for the details.
