TCC invites students, faculty, staff, and our community at large to join us in celebrating OpSail Virginia 2012. Revisit the era of the War of 1812 through educational lectures, historical artifact displays like the legendary sword and portrait of the USS Constitution’s Captain, Charles Morris, archaeological “digs” for kids, and breathtaking planetarium shows. And don’t miss the Juan Sebastian De Elcano, the Spanish tall ship “adopted” by Tidewater Community College for the Parade of Sail event.
