Child Care

Child care while you take care of your studies

Tidewater Community College understands that quality child care is important to helping you achieve your goals. Especially when you are balancing school, work, and other responsibilities.

Thanks to a grant from the Federal Department of Education, TCC is able to offer the TCC Child Care Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Scholarship. The TCC CCAMPIS Scholarship allows students to care for their children, while they pursue their dreams of higher education.

The TCC CCAMPIS Scholarship provides TCC students the ability to receive high quality child minding at local National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited childcare centers.

The scholarship is only good for the semester awarded. Students who want ongoing assistance need to reapply for the scholarship each semester.

TCC on Campus Child Development Centers are Open to students, staff and the public and accepting 2 1/2 to 5 year olds!

If you are interested in your child attending fill out an enrollment form.
