Learn how to act and use your voice and body movements to project characters from the printed page to the stage. Or study sound and lighting, as well as set design and creation to bring a production to life. Participate in fall, spring and the summer Shakespeare in the Grove productions.

TCC’s Career Studies Certificate in Theatre Arts provides a broad introduction to both performance and technical aspects of theater production. You will be prepared to go onstage as an actor, work as a director’s assistant, set designer and other theater-related jobs, even work in communications and public relations.

Even if theater is not your career goal, you can build confidence, speaking skills and teamwork experience by participating in live theater.
