Study Rooms

There are 7 study rooms located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center for students who wish to collaborate on group projects, practice presentations, or just need a quiet area to study.

To reserve a room, please visit the Information Desk on the 1st floor. The rooms are available on a walk-in basis if they have not been previously reserved.


Looking to host an event? The Norfolk Student Center, which is located in the heart of downtown has several event spaces available to meet your needs.
If you are a community member interested in reserving any spaces, contact the Events Coordinator for more information.

If you are a student organization, faculty, or TCC staff member needing to request a space please login to EventGuru (EGS) portal to submit your request.


Located on the fourth floor, the Fitness Center offers fitness classes, cardio equipment,  free weights, circuit training machines, a basketball court, and more.


If esports is more your style, head to the fourth floor Gaming Lounge where you’ll find a variety of gaming systems, video games and HDTVs to use.


Students can enjoy these comfortably furnished spaces to study, meet with friends, or simply relax between classes. You will find these lounge areas on the second, third, and fifth floors. An Outdoor Patio is also available for days when you want to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Student Engagement

Looking to Join a Student Club or are you interested in learning about events on the Norfolk Campus. Please stop by the office of Student Engagement (OSE), located on the third floor of the Student Center..


Barnes & Noble at TCC is your go-to resource for textbooks, class materials and TCC apparel. It’s located on the third floor of MacArthur Center.


Due to Covid-19, All Campus Cafes and Campus Cups will be closed for Fall 2021. Snack Vending Machines and Pepsi Machines will still be available.
