New Student Orientation

online orientation for new students at tidewater community college

Start your first semester with confidence

Prepare to transition into college successfully by attending a new student orientation session through one of two options:

  • in-person on campus or
  • virtually via Zoom

New student orientation is not required but highly recommended.

Attending an orientation session will help you build a solid foundation of student success and acclimate you to the TCC community.

  • Learn how to navigate campus and locate important resources and services, like libraries, academic support, food pantries and computer labs.
  • Find answers to your questions about starting and succeeding in college, including academic advising, mental health counseling, and military-related student support.
