Mission Statement: The Cybercenter at Tidewater Community College is intended to disseminate cyberdefense information into the local, regional, and national cyberdefense community of interest. This includes information on cyberdefense resources, career opportunities, conferences, programs of study, scholarships, partner organizations, faculty contacts, student activities, and certifications as well as a Cybersecurity blog intended to push out updates and news on emerging threats.
TCC’s Career Studies Certificate in Cyber Security offers a curriculum that is mapped to national cybersecurity standards. Some credits may be applied to the Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology.
Our A.A.S degree is transferable and offers students the opportunity to participate in competitions and extracurricular activities that sharpen skills and knowledge and provide networking opportunities.
