Odyssey Day comes to the RAC

Odyssey Day, a national initiative, brings together industry professionals, students and the community to learn about green transportation, clean fuels and innovative energy-related initiatives in development throughout the Commonwealth and the nation. 

Students, faculty and staff enjoyed riding in energy efficient vehicles, including a Nissan LEAF, a Chevy Volt, and various electric and hybrid prototypes. Thirty vendors were on hand to answer questions.

Student looks under the hood of a carTCC’s own Thomas Stout, program head of the Electromechanical Controls Technology, which includes the Renewable Energy Technologies, presented a wind turbine and solar demonstration onsite.
