Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degrees

A strong emphasis is placed on applications, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Students will be exposed to the mechanical and electrical components of the system and will learn how programmable logic controllers direct the operation of a wind turbine. The capstone class will provide students with hands-on experience in operating a wind turbine simulator and troubleshooting wind turbine issues. |
First-time college students who meet GPA and other requirements may qualify for a 2-year transfer grant to apply toward tuition. Grants of $1,000 may be awarded for your junior and senior years.
Students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) disciplines may be eligible for an additional $1,000 each year.
