Sentara supports student computer initiative at TCC

Sentara Healthcare has donated more than 2,100 computers plus monitors and peripherals to Computers for Student Success at Tidewater Community College. Since December 2009, Sentara’s donations have helped Computers for Student Success refurbish and give 3,000 free computers to TCC students to use in their educational pursuits.

“Sentara is the heart of our Computers for Students Success Program,” said Gary Noah, professor of information systems and technology, who advises the TCC Computer Club.

The hardware became available with the health system’s upgrade of its hardware.
