International Students Support
Specialized advisors will help you get started with programs and services that include:
- English as Second Language (ESL) Program – Taught by credentialed, experienced faculty, TCC’s ESL program offers non-native English speakers the oral, listening, reading, and writing skills necessary to succeed in the U.S. academically, professionally, and personally.
- ESL Placement Testing – TCC requires most non-native English speakers to take the ACCUPLACER ESL placement test prior to enrolling in classes.
- Intercultural Learning Center – Each semester, the Intercultural Learning Center (ILC) and International Student Services offer a full range of programs and services to support, celebrate, and raise awareness of the cultural diversity of our students.
- Intercultural Club – TCC’s Intercultural Club, a student organization, is dedicated to promoting an interest in and appreciation of different cultures and languages, fostering relationships between international and domestic students, and promoting culturally based social and educational activities.
