How to obtain your ID card
Students are eligible to obtain an ID card 1 to 2 business days after registering for classes. Bring the following to a campus ID office:
- A valid photo ID (examples: driver's license, government-issued identification card, passport, military ID, etc.)
- Your SIS student ID number

The first card is issued free of charge. A $10 replacement fee will be charged. Not sure if the fee applies? Contact your campus ID office before obtaining your new ID card.
Obtaining a replacement student ID card
Visit your campus business office to pay the $10 fee (if applicable). Take your receipt to the campus ID office to obtain your new card. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID and SIS student ID number.
Lost or stolen cards
You are responsible for all transactions that occur before your card is officially reported lost or stolen, so it’s important to act as soon as possible.
Report a lost or stolen card by logging into the StormCard Manager site using your myTCC username and password.
Click the “I lost my card” link to temporarily lock your card. If you later locate your card log into the StormCard Manager site and click the “I found my card” link. Your card will be unlocked and reactivated immediately.
Your account will be automatically unlocked if you obtain a new ID card. Please note that your old card will no longer work.
Where to use your card
Use your StormCard to make purchases at various places across the college, including: Barnes & Noble at TCC, The Campus Cup, The Campus Cafe, Child Care, vending, and printing. View the StormCard plans to find one that meets your needs.

Chesapeake: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Norfolk: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:45 p.m.
Portsmouth: Monday and Tuesday 8:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday to Friday 8:30 to 5 p.m.
Virginia Beach: Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
