TCC 2014 Literary Festival, April 7-10

Tidewater Community College’s 13th annual Literary Festival explores travel writing and connection through story with keynote speaker Kelsey Timmerman and three writers featured.

The free, public festival begins April 7 at 6 p.m. with the world-traveling Timmerman sharing his experiences at the TCC Roper Performing Arts Center in downtown Norfolk. His appearance is presented by TCC’s Office for Intercultural Learning.

Timmerman’s adventures include an overnight stay in Dracula’s castle in Romania, teaching an island village to play baseball in Honduras and farming in four continents.
