TCC Chorus to perform seasonal favorites during its fall concert

Tidewater Community College’s Chorus presents its fall semester concert on Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the TCC Roper Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major and other seasonal songs by composers Michael Praetorius, Hans Leo Hassler, John Purfoy, Donald McCullough, Roger Emerson, Andrea Ramsey, William Blew and Patti Drennan. 
 
TCC Chorus, under the direction of David Warren, features 26 singers and accompaniment by Michael Regan. 
 
Gloria soloists are:

  • Bonnie Lambert-Baxter, mezzo soprano, and a current member of the Virginia Chorale, Virginia’s only professional chamber choir.
  • Ellen Golliher, soprano, an applied voice instructor at the college and a soloist at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Norfolk.
  • Monika Berry, mezzo soprano, a TCC Chorus member and a culinary arts student at the college.

The concert is free and open to the public.
