TCC’s Regional Automotive Center awarded $8,000 from Bridgestone Tires

Tidewater Community College’s Regional Automotive Center (RAC) is the recipient of an $8,000 donation from Bridgestone Trust Fund. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for RAC students and new equipment and tools for automotive labs.

“TCC was chosen as a Bridgestone Trust Fund recipient because of the college’s longstanding reputation of producing highly skilled and motivated automotive service professionals,” said Will Larson, manager of recruiting, development and retention for Bridgestone Retail Operations North East Zone. “We are committed to selecting the best and brightest graduates to populate our service bays for generations to come. Our industry-leading performance is made possible through collaborative efforts with learning institutions like TCC.”
