Thinking about TCC? Prepare for placement tests with these free workshops

Most new Tidewater Community College students are required to take the Virginia Placement Test in English and mathematics prior to enrolling in classes.

If you’re thinking about enrolling in TCC, or any college, brush up on your English and math skills at a free Placement Test Refresher Workshop.

The free workshops are open to the public. You need not be a TCC student or planning to attend TCC.

The two-hour sessions – one hour of English and one hour of math prep – offer guidance on taking the computer-based placement test. In addition, the Chesapeake Campus offers two 1-hour sessions that focus only on advanced math skills.

Registration is not required, and you may attend multiple workshops. Arrive 10 minutes early to register.

Children are not permitted to attend any of the sessions.
