Tidewater Community College and the TCC Educational Foundation are committed to investing in our students. Through the generous contributions of individual donors and organizations, we are able to provide scholarships to support students' academic study and achievement.

These scholarships are often awarded in addition to other financial aid opportunities available to qualified students.
Awards may be used for tuition, books and necessary supplies at TCC. Students who receive TCC Educational Foundation scholarship awards are eligible to receive no more than the cost of tuition, books and supplies for the indicated award period.
Virginia Foundation for Community College Education
VFCCE's mission is to provide access to education for all Virginians. Through the statewide scholarship program, students can apply for scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. Applications are now open for the 2016-17 academic year!
This nonprofit, founded by a Virginia Commonwealth University graduate, maintains a database of scholarship opportunities. It sponsored a scholarship fair in September 2015 at TCC.
These opportunities are available through organizations outside TCC or through programs at the college other than the Educational Foundation. Many have their own application process and deadlines, so be sure to read each one carefully.
