340 Art & Design Annual Release Party

02 Nov
When: Thursday November 2nd, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Description:

Join us for the launch of the most recent 340 High Street Art Annual and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the project with a reception for our exhibition We Are Three Forty.

Don't miss out on this design filled night—activated with book binding, a special photo-booth, music, and sweet treats! We welcome our current student cohort and welcome back old friends and TCC Visual Arts + Design alumni to this special night to honor the 25 years the TCC Graphic Design Program has been producing this book. This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow art enthusiasts and celebrate the power of design.

About the Exhibition

In 1999, the faculty of TCC’s Visual Arts + Design Center had an unprecedented idea: to facilitate the annual production of a publication of remarkable student work, designed entirely by students in a single graphic design class. The experimental project, named 340 High Street after the physical address of the former Visual Arts Center building, breaks the theoretical constructs of the classroom by engaging students in a real-world design project. This special exhibition illustrates the talent of these student cohorts through a behind-the-scenes look at the twenty-five year history of the project.
