Breaking Through A Showcase for Actors

When: Monday April 26th, 07:30 pm - 08:30 pm Description: CORE Theatre Ensemble and the TCC Roper Performing Arts Center team up for a fabulous evening of live streamed monologues exploring topics and issues that are especially relevant to humankind today. The live performances will be selected from the “Breaking Through” collection, a trove of taped monologues from both students and the community that will be permanently available online. Monologues are are accepted from anyone high-school age or older. For more information, please email roper@tcc.edu. This event is part of Tidewater Community College’s “My Thoughts My Voice My Art” series of music, visual arts, literary, and theatrical programming developed by the Arts & Humanities Pathway. Free and open to the public, all are invited to join us for these compelling events featuring themes of diversity, adversity, inequality, social justice, and empowerment.
