Securing the Bag, Tips on Getting the Job You Want, Part 1 Networking with Confidence!

TCC Career Services and NAMIC-Virginia are working in a collaborative effort to host "Securing the Bag – Tips to Getting the Job You Want". This is a 3-Part Series. Make plans to attend Part I: Network With Confidence! During this COVID-19 epidemic, more job seekers are having to conduct interviews via Zoom/Skype. Some job seekers may not be confident with this method of interviewing.

This seminar will cover:

•  Gain the confidence to approach someone
•  Learn ways to use virtual events and social media to build your network
• Find out how to leverage your network for career opportunities
• Balance the conversation between talking about yourself and asking questions
• Utilize methods to follow up after meeting someone
