Shakespeare in the Grove

When: Friday June 25th, 08:00 pm - 10:00 pm Where: Whitehurst Building, Located in the Grove Theatre Description: TCC and the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission present William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night or What you Will. Viola loves Orsino who loves Olivia who loves Cesario who is actually Viola. Got it? Mistaken identities, romance, revelry, and hijinx abound in one of the bard’s most wild and raucous comedies. Pirates raid the Grove as we set this production in the rum-soaked streets of Port Royal in 1692. Live music and a festival atmosphere mark the triumphant return to live theatre with the 24th annual Shakespeare in the Grove. The performances will be held at in the Grove Theatre space, located on the Chesapeake Campus. To enjoy your evening, feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair in addition to a picnic basket.
